Privacy & Data Deletion Policy

Hyperlytix ("we", "us", or "our") operates merchant integration software. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and explicitly how we delete data obtained through official marketplace APIs, including the eBay REST API.

1. Data We Collect

We access data authorized by the merchant via OAuth 2.0. This is restricted to: catalog identifiers (ISBN/UPC), pricing history, taxonomy mapping data, and inventory listing drafts. We do not request access to unrelated personal user data.

2. Data Usage & Protection

Data retrieved is used exclusively to provide the software functionality (inventory ingestion and catalog valuation). We never sell, rent, or distribute marketplace data to third parties. All data in transit is secured via TLS 1.3.

3. Marketplace Account Deletion Notifications (eBay Compliance)

Hyperlytix fully complies with the eBay User Data and Account Deletion policy. We maintain an active, secure webhook at https://hyperlytix.com/api/ebay-deletion to receive automated Marketplace Account Deletion/Closure notifications.

• Automated Purging: Upon receiving an account closure payload from the marketplace, our systems automatically invalidate the OAuth tokens and purge all associated seller data and cached catalogs from our databases within 24 hours.
• Manual Deletion Requests: Users may also manually revoke app access within their marketplace dashboard or request full account data erasure by emailing support@hyperlytix.com. Manual requests are fulfilled within 48 hours.

4. PII Data Minimization

While our primary function is inventory mapping, if any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is processed, it is subject to a strict automated 30-day purge cycle. No PII is retained indefinitely.
